Rectilinear earthworks may be associated with medieval (?manorial) settlement. Thought by C19 antiquaries to be the site of a 'Roman camp', therefore presumably substantial earthworks survived to that date. (Beds HER)

Gatehouse Comments

A straight line of embankment is shown running SW-NE to the NE of the farm buildings on the 1885 OS map which, presumably represents the last remnants of this site.
