Dovecote c.100 yards east of Biddlestone Home Farm, Grade II. Lectern type. 18th or 19th century. Two storey; c.20ft square. Two rows of pigeon holes on first floor. Brick nesting boxes inside (Listed Building Report).

Possible pele tower/bastle of sturdy construction, now converted to a dovecote (Pers Comm, MARS Project, Sep-1995). (Northumberland HER)

Free-standing lectern-type hemmel, with a two rows of pigeon holes above the arched ground floor entrance. The structure is c.6m square and two storeys high, with brick nesting boxes inside. It has been suggested that this hemmel is constructed from the remains of a bastle house or pele tower. (Structural Images of the North East)
