Mound, near E side of road, nearly 1.5 mile NE of church. A roughly circular natural knoll, approached by a causeway on the NE, appears to have been artificially heightened. (RCHME) The knoll, although somewhat disturbed around its crest, is prob entirely natural. The holloway (not causeway) to NE is disused trackway to Hill Farm. (Herefordshire SMR 3813)

Mrs Clearwater 26.9.90 reported a mound in this field. Number of finds reported by the owners. One for identification was a copper alloy beaker badly crushed, possibly silvered. Looked hand made, but of late date from fabric. Mound possibly house site - HAW. (Herefordshire SMR 10132 at SO7548)
