It was originally alleged by the Ordnance Survey that this was the site of Willeava, a pele tower of 15th/16th century date. However, on the 1603 survey map they consider it to be the Mealfarme, a possible mill. Foundations were uncovered during excavation, but no trace of the building is now visible. It is believed that Wileava was at Collin Bank. (PastScape)
