Gatehouse Comments

Could be any number of known sites, or a totally new one, although the context - a list of castles in Cambridgeshire of which Cambridge is the only other listed should suggest something significant. Gatehouse suspects Ely Cherry Hill significant by it association with Ely Cathedral. The name is also used for the recorded, but lost, castle of Aldreth of C11.
